Euphyllia

Euphyllia corals belong to the category of hard corals classified as LPS. LPS stands for Large Polyp Stony Corals. The genus Euphyllia currently includes nine different species of animals based on their growth form. They are characterized by a calcareous skeleton with long protruding tentacles.
